I am already looking at Western Canada for late summer early fall. as for rates,, in USD dollars for the same room in OCT( which was already up) versus April it went up 60 USD @ night,, add the exchange rat and it does hurt . This April , year over year its 1800 cdn more . yes a lot of it is the exchange rate , and some is the Hotel fees , which you can't blame them , its supply and demand. People will stop going , and rates will come back down, or competition will show up again.. People were mad at me for promoting the O viva when they tried, not understanding my altrerior motives . Gone are the 2 or 3 trips a year,, April will be hard to kill for me, but there are limits for everything .
If the exchange rate stays as is for next year we'll be seeking an alternative to TTR. Here's one idea we have been bouncing around, a houseboat rental. CruiseCraft V - Twin Anchors CBC = Canadian Boobs Cruise!!!!!
Okay that's it! F--k it! We're not going anymore. Other than the sun, sand and warm tropical breezes. The sexy, almost naked, fun loving and flirtatious people, unlimited alcohol, food and debauchery all day and night, we can stay home, never notice the difference, and save the money! LOL
If we could just get all the stuff I mentioned here in Canada, we wouldn't have to worry about the loonie, and save a lot of frustration. But where? Donald...how bout your place. LOL
