We're on our eighth trip in April and we never get to see many Welsh or British people there. We were wondering if any were planning on being there between April 19th to May 4th. We meet up every year with some amazing Americans and Canadians but they struggle to understand me (Les) so it would be nice for Lynfa not to have to translate all the time lol xxx
You can hang with us. We've got a few friends from the U.K., and when our friend from Scotland is drunk he might as well be speaking Klingon and we can still understand him. Then again, my ears might be working too well then either.
Please don't take this the wrong way but I'm sure the missus will be glad we're not there at the same time as you folks. On our first trip to TTR we met these two lovely girls from the UK and I being newly diagnosed as a diabetic mama decided she'd look after me. She's not a drinker by any stretch of the imagination, normally 3 to 4 glasses of wine is good for her. Any way these two girls from the UK were in the mood to PARTY and kept coming back with these super sweet sugary shooters well mama was a trooper and drank her shot and mine so my sugar wouldn't go through the roof. Needless to say I ended up having to put her to bed and for someone that doesn't drink a lot she handled her own but man she was hurting for most of the next day. She swore if she ever met another person from the UK she'd never try to keep up with them drinking wise. She sticks to her own pace now.
