We went to GP in '13 and '14, and the TTR in '15. I think a lot of it depends on the crowd. First year at GP was definitely more tame, and is like what was descried as "getting your feet wet". While there we talked to a few regulars that said it used to be much more wild. Second trip definitely proved that to be true. A little more topless, but not that much, but much more sexual at night at the Tiki, and hot tub. There were many topless body shots, and pretty much straight up sexual acts performed at the Tiki that you would only see on the Boobs Cruise. They then went thru quite a change in concept, and I left two Facebook pages that I was following on, and decided we weren't going back. If they hadn't changed we likely would have gone back. I really can't say how they have been in the last few months, but I have heard god and bad reports. TTR, when we were there, last week of October, it was pretty much everyone topless. I didn't find it very sexual at all though compared to GP the year before. We never saw any body shots on at the pool bar, and Patyo's at night, while the women were scantily dressed never showed any sexual activity, or outright flashing like we saw at GP. Not a complaint, just an observation. I think a lot of your enjoyment really is up to what you want out of it. I don't get impressed with a lot of the Desire trip reports, because they seem to make it sound pretty laid back during the day. It sound like GP with full nudity. I think the more private nature of the place makes the trip reports more vague? I wouldn't even say it's more swinger friendly, because there were a lot at GP the second year there. Having said all that I would choose TTR the next time, as they have more to offer. If you want the GP style trip during the day, just stay at the quiet pool, and it seems to be a lot less money than Desire. Rooms, GP are better if you want to see, and hear the ocean. Food wise for us, it was a tie with zero complaints of either place, but we care very little if any about food on vacation.
Desire is a lot nicer, but it's smaller. The food and service is superior at Desire, and it should not be compared with Temptations. We have been to Desire once and don't plan to go back. It's too much more expensive for not enough value IMO. I also felt "stuck" at that resort where I can easily leave Temptations for a break. Neither my gf or I had an issue with the nudity at either place. You won't be pressured at either place. There are more options at Temptations, but the resort itself is just average. It's a lot of fun, but it may not be for you if you don't want to party. You'll run into the same issues at Desire most likely. Honestly for the cost of Desire, I expected a lot more. Also I got food poisoning at Desire, which has nothing to do with my recommendation. The food is generally average at Temptations, but I've never been sick there.

We'd suggest 2-3 days at TTR, just so you have enough time to arrive, get settled, and really enjoy. You'll get a chance to experience a couple theme nights and different games in the pools as they vary from day to day.
Now that is funny, I remember a camping trip couple years back in northern MN. It wasn't the first day but you did change by the end of the week. Nice seeing you guys last summer again. Jeff and Krystal

Time for my 2 cents!! You said you like to party and also quiet time. At TTR it is a 100% guarantee that you will have both. At GP it is a guarantee you will have quiet time and a coin flip if you will have party time. AT GP it depends on the crowd if you will have a good party. And as the reports are coming in it is slowing down more and more. When I was there the party was zero. It was so bad I had to purchase nights at TTR while I still had a room at GP!!!!
