Reserving pool chairs

Hey everyone. We are headed back for our second trip. Last time was 5 years ago. We did the beach towel on the chair thing back then to reserve them. I read somewhere about people using a t-shirt to put over the chair back. Is that still a thing? Customized themed tshirts?

yes people use t shirts to reserve chairs. have seen everything from customized t shirts, resort towels.

I've never worried about reserving a chair. Laying in a chair all day makes sense if you are at a regular resort and exhausted from playing bingo! If you are up that early in the morning to reserve a chair, you either didn't stay out late enough partying or you haven't been back to your room yet from the night before!

THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOVELD

 

In our 2 trips we have never reserved a chair. We spend the day in the pool so we just ask someone if they would mind if we put our stuff under their chair. We have never been declined.

 

Some people have health issue or sun issues and need a chair or umbrella.

I understand their frustration when they can't get either , when all the chairs are ''reserved'' by ghosts .

That being said the situation is a lot better since they have added the upper deck/area for members adding/freeing up a lot of chairs to the pool area .
