This year I booked directly thru the TTR website. Was cheaper than expedia and cheaptickets. Direct flights from Chicago for 5 nights under 2k with trip insurance.
we did the same and it was $2,400 for 7 nights. Not direct flights, but great times and a 1 hour layover there and back.:icon_surprised:
When I log onto TTR web site for booking , all I get is the Hotel option under reservations. Not a Hotel and Airline package option. I don't see it either. Might be wise to book your flights seperatly.All inds of problems could arise booking through a Mexican site. I know a few years a go a Site was copying the Official TTR site to make it look like you were on their site,, the cover page was almost Identical , but it was actually a travel company stealing direct bookings,,, they may have had the flight pull down,, cause yes I have seen that option in the past .
Yes, that is the same web site we use ..but there is no package (hotel and airlines) on their reservation link showing for me.
We have also found it makes a difference what day you are doing the booking. These prices can change daily and sometimes by a significant amount. Seems like Tuesday and Wednesday are the cheapest days to book.
