We've been to Temptation 15 times now (goodness gracious) and Desire RM once. The food at DRM was slightly better at DRM, but was much more shi-shi (Stacia term meaning fancy, and pretty to look at).

I was never displeased with any meal I've had at Temptation except this one time that Stacia got an undercooked lobster tail. I, of course, did not even want that.

For us, Dinner is a low priority on 'the best night of the year at TTR'......I am sure the waiter and Maitre'D completely understood.....they know the drill during HnH.

depends on what food though. We were there for Octoberfest......let's just say the cultural exchange for food has not been done concerning the Germans and Mexicans. The food overall at TTR is not bad. We've had better at other resorts, but the party just isn't the same.

Desire's buffet is much nicer than TTR, but the Italian restaurant at TTR is simply awesome. We're fond of Marguerita's for lunch as well. We weren't crazy for the Asian restaurant though.

Menus have about 12 choices,, about half are sea food ,, if one does not like seafood, ( allergies ect) , your options are severely reduced.
One will not starve , but on a 10 day stay you may eat the same thing 3 times,,, sounds trivial , when people are starving .

Breakfast at TTR is better then Desire.

Lunch at Desire next to the pool is way better then TTR

Dinner at either resort are great!

    That's my 2 cents.

We went for the first time in October last year. We found the food very good - especially for the price. Best advice I can give would be to avoid the buffets though - Tex Mex is great for lunch and the restaurants are very nice indeed.

You hit the nail on the head there

Yeah most certainly a first world problem as it's been said.

I don't have enough options to choose from

As opposed to the third world problem of

I'm starving I'll take whatever I can get

The food at TTR is fine for the price you pay. Personally, not what I would cook at home, but on the plus side I eat way more vegetables and salad at TTR because they are much better than I can make at home.

I've found over 6 trips that there's certain dishes I like and others I don’t. For instance, everyone else loves the coconut shrimp but I'm not a fan. The lasagne at the Italian in terrible, but the caesar and gorgonzola salads are amazing. I love both salmon dishes at the Italian and seafood restaurants but unfortunately they're premier only. I'd love them to be made available on the pay menu. I'd pay to eat them every night!

I'm not worried about the food, I'll be at the "Y" the entire week that we're there. And if my husband is lucky, he'll get to watch :)
