Hey Everyone! I noticed that in a lot of the threads, people have very mixed feelings about single guys travelling to TTR. Is this the same feeling towards the ladies? I have not selected dates but am wondering if it's ok to travel solo. Thanks!
I haven't ever heard of a major problem with single women going to TTR. And for the most part, single guys are accepted if they are well mannered. There will always be the one offs, which can be single ladies or men who misbehave and get too drunk and obnoxious, or even couples that just don't like singles no matter what. The last time I was there in Jun2014, there were a few couples upset with a small group of single women who left the day after I arrived. Apparently they were very sloppy drunks. I had a wonderful time as a single guy. I filled in as a dance partner for some of the husbands that didn't want to dance, I met some great couples and singles that just liked to drink and party with no pressure, and I had one couple that made me sit with them for all the shows. It was an incredible time. The only concern I actually have is the time of year, when the weather will be getting above 85 each day. It looks like April is the best choice. ;-) TTR is the best place to get away as a single person, because there is always people to talk to and fun stuff going on at the pool. You will not feel like a third wheel, like at other resorts or cruises. And, you will likely find a nice couple or single male that wants you to play with them back at their room if you agree to that. But again, its a very no pressure environment. We think that single women should be brought in by the bus loads Ms. Free ;-) ..... And if they run out of rooms, feel free to sleep in ours!

We agree fully with this guy's articulate and intelligent assessment, it's spot on in our opinion. He seems to be the type of single person, whether guy or girl, who would mix seamlessly with the usual TTR crowd. In our experience the vast majority of singles fit this description to varying degrees, with the very few jacktards making their presence quickly known. Let's make jilltard a word too, everyone has seen/met a few of them too. If your personality mirrors what he stated get on with your booking, you'll have the vacation of a lifetime. Cheers

Free@33 I think couples or singles wouldn't mind having you there. By the looks of your pictures you can handle yourself so no need to worry. Sure you don't want to go around the middle of April? Just saying!
