When you say 'student' do you mean elementary or middle school? I really don't think you have a realistic expectation of what to expect out of a vacation or an understanding of what things cost outside of your neck of the woods or how most people value and respect their fellow humans whether they be other vacationers or staff at Temptation resort. Good luck to you. But if this is real then I fear a serious let down on your vacation and in life in general.
If you want pool side service you will need to tip 10 to 20 $ @ day , or you can get up and go to bar and get service there for about $1 a drink tip. Breakfast is usually 2$ ,, lunch ( served at rest) 5$, or 2$ at buffet ( they bring you drinks ) . Super at one of the Al la Carte rest 5 to 10$ +. then you got night time same thing , theres 1 0r 2 servers, tip them and they will get your drinks , or go to bar and get your own. you missed the ''ect '' part in my 400$,, we usually go to the Beach hut for massage 80$ usd + 20 USD tip for 1 hour. thats in the 400 (100) a lot depends on whether you want a waiter ( which you said you do, numerous times ) , or if you want to get your own drinks . If you want to be treated like royalty as you say , you better bring more then 100$. If you don'tr , you will still get your drinks ect...and eat at 10 pm at the rest. if you don't have reservations. don't forget the bell boy , taxi transport , room service , if you get some ,, ect... Some people tip more then me some less, but 100 spending money for the week is low .
You dont need to tip $10-20 for pool side service. no tip is a "must". I feel like a tip is optional, and no one will refuse you service if you dont tip. Tips are included in an all inclusive as it clearly says in the fine print. If you choose to tip do so under your own volition, but by no means and anywhere does it mean you HAVE to tip. I saved thousands of dollars over my life by tipping 10% or under everywhere I go. My advice is tip less and use the money you save on tips to go out more often, enjoy your life better etc. No waiter is going to refuse my order, for $1 tip they will do hoop dances for you in Mexico from my understanding. $1 to them is a lot, and I plan to tip when I feel like it. If they refuse service cause of low tip I will report them to management. I will stretch $100 further than most people can with $400-500 that is the difference between someone who understands wealth/value and someone who just throws money away on tips.
The piggy bank is bare Donald .....guess the lemonade stand in the summer wasn't that profitable . :banghead::banghead:
Like I said this is my first time out of Canada, and first experience. I am new to this, but I imagine it as I am describing. I will wave my hand, of course the waiter will see me. I have to say it feels amazing to getting the same service and same room as someone who is paying top dollar and dishing out tons of tips wasting their cash when I am saving my money and living the same life but for less. That is why some people will make it far and others are just middle class joes. To me this Temptation resort marks outstanding luxury and was rated really high on all hotels 4 stars and up.
My first thought, is this post even real? But then as I kept reading your posts I just thought, wow this guy won't let up!! Yes vacations can be expensive but good luck finding anywhere more 'luxury' than TTR for the price. And with no tipping, sorry to say it but you will be at the bottom of a huge pile of partiers all looking and paying for the same service. My advice to you is keep saving and take the vacation you really want, or buck up and listen instead of arguing when seasoned members try to help you out.
Sorry . Have to go to bed so I can get up tomorrow and make money for my tips. Hope you enjoy your stay you cheap y guy ( or frugal?? ) I,ll leave in capable hands
