Apple vacations is the one advertising the topless concept I am unable to get a response from the Cabo location as they were slated to open yesterday but pushing back reservations.
Have stayed at Breathless in Puna Cana shortly after it opened, and a friend was there last year. Also have been to Secrets, and like many resorts topless on the beach area is okay, and did not see any topless around the pool. Staff would talk about women taking their tops off at the pool volleyball, but never saw anyone. The Breathless entertainment is more risque than Secrets and plays a Truth or Dare game at the pool, or themed parties at night. The Breathless website lists the Pool and Beach areas as Topless optional. Their blog announced Topless can be at all their pools in August 2015. In 2014, at night there was some topless playing in the hot tub, staff walked by and said nothing. Foam pool party was fun. I think Breathless is more like GP. Partially depends on the crowd. Is it a TTR? no. Is it a Spring Break party hotel? no. AM Resorts is trying to have a brand for each type of person from Secrets, to Now, to Dreams, to Zoetry. Breathless is their brand to go after the people that want a more sexy style....time will tell how they develop the brand. As to cost...I have never paid full price. I either booked at the entry level and got a free 2 level upgrade or paid for upgreade 2 levels and was upgraded 4 or more levels.
We went to a Breathless resort in Punta Cana and it's nothing like TTR. There is a younger crowd than at your typical AA but it wasn't the same social atmosphere as we found at TTR, specifically meaning everyone mostly kept to themselves. Sent from my SM-T357T using Tapatalk
Piggybacking on this thread.... Does anyone have any recommendations for adults-only AI in Cabos? A coworker of mine raved and raved about Cabos (but she couldn't remember the resort name... Didn't matter as it was kid-friendly anyway and we want to avoid kids) I love Temptation with all my heart, but we need to see other places LOL (or do we???) -Mrs Cheers
we also loved it , ( TTR Cabos) had more of an old mexican feel loved the outback tours we did beside the odd hurricanes, the weather is dryer ,, dessert it can be cooler in the winter
