Seems these new concept resorts are topless optional with a sexy vibe and entertainment has anyone been to one if so is this true? I have booked a vacation in March to check it out. Maybe just maybe this place will replace the Temptation resort that has closed for us ?
looked at them last year but the prices were much more ,, maybe its an alternative now this year now that TTR is raising prices
The resort looks good but it is twice the price and way too long of a flight for me. The shortest flight was 13 hours there and 18 hours return and both plus one day.
FYI - they currently have one open in Los Cabos and there is a new Riviera Maya Breathless that has been built over the last two years and scheduled to open "sometime" in 2016. It is the property to the immediate south of Desire Riviera Maya (about 20 min from the airport, 40 min from Temptation). Breathless is a unit of AMResorts which is heavily owned by Apple Vacations. Their other resorts Secrets, Dreams, Now and Zoetry do not allow topless. These are "American themed" resorts and cater to the more prudish vacationer and families. Although in the Breathless PR material they have stated that it will be "adults only with a sexy vibe". I personally wouldn't expect them to break out of the corporate comfort zone and allow topless on the property. Reports from the current Breathless properties indicate is is aptly named, apparently the prices there do leave you Breathless - lol FYI - Here is an artist rendering of what the Riviera Maya Breathless resort may look like when finished. ( based upon recent viewings of the construction project, they will have to truck out 100s of tons of rotting seaweed and truck in 100s of tons of sand to get even close to what their rendering shows - lol )
