I remember the check-in and the rooms, it all goes down hill from there. By the end of the week the only way I know who I am is to check my underwear, but by then I don't have any underwear. So hope I have met enough people to tell me who I am.
The mrs just reminded me of one. We once found a person sleeping in the bed of the room they had just given us. It was a single dude so we got another room.
Steve, I see you have the 'Hot wife in the same room" feature I always seem to get too. Sure hope I get that again this year
No idea what block or room number.... We had balcony, double shower, no door to bathroom, quiet, long way from anywhere ... Will check block and room number next week! I promise!!!!
Lol, forgot about the reverse shower knobs! We've had several rooms with that feature. For any newbies reading this please know that we found these things to be mostly comical and we've never hesitated in returning. The resort, staff, and atmosphere are amazing and make the experience unforgettable.
Last trip we were in the 4000, I think 3rd floor. It faced the road, but actually had a good view of the lagoon and wasn't load with road noise. Bathroom was my favorite of the two we've had. It had a door and a large, but single shower. We still easily fit 2 people and it had a built in shower bench which as very nice to have Best part...this lounge chair that was AMAZING for sex. I have tried to find one just like it for my house that is how much fun it was. First room we had the double shower and had a door, but had a window above the sink looking out into the bedroom instead of a mirror. I hated not having a mirror, and the window looked right at the toilet. We discovered that if you opened the shower door it would block to give privacy. I actually have mixed feelings with the double shower. While it was awesome, it was difficult to shave. I like a ledge or a chair or bench or something to set my foot on. Can't wait to see what room we get in January!!!
The no bathroom door rooms are a deal-breaker for me. I always check in online and put in the notes that I want a bathroom door, then reiterate it to the desk agent, but five out of the six times we've gone, they've taken us to a "no door" room first. Sometimes I think they do it just to see how long before I'll break! (We've never had to stay in one, but we have had one where we did the same shower door move ChanceSarah used).
