Theres no picture taking at the pool or anywhere there is topless. If you look around this website you will notice you will not see any pictures unless you post them of yourself for the most part

Even on the Facebook groups people only post pictures of themselves. It seems that most are very respectful of others. We haven't been to the resort yet. We leave in a few weeks for our 1st trip but I would imagine by what I have seen and read thus far that your wife shouldn't worry too much. :)

There always ends up being people trying to take photos or videos in the topless areas, but between security and pissed off husbands, they usually get dealt with fairly quickly. 99% of people there are respectful and understand TTR is somewhere lots of people go to do what they wouldn't do at home haha. My wife was concerned and nervous about the topless thing our first trip... her top lasted appx. 32 seconds once we hit the sexy pool!

The only thing I'd add is even if a picture of your wife sneaks out onto the net of her topless just keep in perspective that unless they know you it's not like they can tag her so that her mom and boss can see that she was topless in Cancun. Most of the time it's a mental thing for people.

Heck there was a thread on here a few months ago that I saw a picture that I was pretty sure was me and Steve corrected me and said it was someone else. The lesson being that you can always lie and say you have a doppelgänger out there who must have been partying like a rock star.

So... Go have fun and relax!

My wife is a corporate executive and was very concerned/skeptical about photos being taken.

The pools- we rarely saw people with phones, and when we did it was clear they were looking at time, etc. The staff constantly is reminding people. The one time we saw it was at the foam party, and by the time we noticed it- security was there talking to the guy, examining his phone, presumably to request he delete pictures. It's a non issue IMO because 1) the staff take care of reminders and monitoring, 2) the people there are very respectful. Lots of moms, dads, employers, employees, etc. who want to have fun, but value privacy as well.

The beach- we did notice more pictures being taken at the beach, but mostly either selfies or out toward the beach. IMO it's more likely a pic of your wife in the background at the beach happens than any pic at the pool. Even then, it's not like there were pervy guys running around on the beach clearly trying to get a nudie shot- it was more people taking pictures of the beach and there could be stuff in the back ground.

The Boobs Cruise- all bets are off when you return from the Boobs Cruise. This is one time where people from the resort will come to the dock and watch and photo the spectacle. IMO they should know this and put a security guard there the 2x per week the boat returns, but knowing this, if its a concern, when the boat returns, go to the back of the boat.

Bottom line- we don't think it's anything to be overly concerned about. Could it happen- yeah. But there are enough measures and awareness that it's highly unlikely. If you drive knowing you could get into an accident, then it's about the same thing.

I thought the rule was that there are no pictures allowed to be taken during the pool games. There are defiantly pictures taken in the pool, and you see people with cameras on their writs. People get together for group shots, some topless people will sink lower in the water or stand behind other people. I know not to post pictures of others unless i ask, and I think many people do the same.

One thing I can add is it is very hard to figure out who girls are from pool pictures. Most girls have on hats and sunglasses. People look different day to day, and even night to day. If I saw my wife in the background of someones pictures during the day, I probably wouldn't even be able to pick her out.

Agreed. Same experience for us. There are cameras around for sure. But, everyone is beyond respectful when taking a pic. Its always a close shot of people that know they are posing for the pic, not wide shots of the pool area taken to be posted online either.

We were just there about 45 days ago and there is a new? (maybe I just never noticed it before) sign at the pool bar saying no pics in the sexy pool. I was going to take a picture of the sign but thought it was kinda ironic if I did that.

I think you will see cameras in two situations:

    1. Repeater groups that love each other and what to reminisce all year long as they count down to their next trip.

    2. Creepy people.
