    What's it normally like?

Forecast doesn't look great. And I know it doesn't really matter with the company and alcohol....

But, coming from Scotland with a non-existent summer this year, I would like to see some Sun and be something other than pure white!

This will be my 8th trip during Nov/Dec and I can only tell you that no 2 years have been the same weather wise.
Last year it was very windy and cooler than normal, but 3 or 4 years ago it was really, really hot. Even the staff were complaining about it being too hot.

Days are warm, nights are cool...best way I can describe my experience. Forecast can vary because of the way the weather comes off the water. So even if it says rain, it may only last 10 minutes at the resort. Just know that between being with amazing people and ...well...drunk...you'll be fine!

We have traveled late Nov several times. Expect some rain but it often is a torrent for 10 mins then the sun comes out. A couple of years ago we were fat the sexy pool, it started to pour, many people grabbed their stuff and ran for their rooms. By the time we got to our room the sun was back out. Another time we could see the black sky coming from Isla Mujeres. I said to mu husband "oh well, I guess this days fucked" then it came....it rained sideways and blew and once again 15mins later blue sky. Unbelievable. Don't worry about it. And regulars will tell you NOT TO LOOK AT THE FORECAST BEFORE YOU GO! It only leads to unnecessary stress. Enjoy!

We've been in late November /early December three times, and found it to be nice and warm during the day with occasional brief showers, and cool (but not cold) at night. We used to live in Northeast Pennsylvania, so I know what you mean about wanting to get away from the cold and the s-word. Not only is the weather nice, the people are awesome!

The way I'd describe the weather is like May / June weather over here. Temperature is like our summer, with a bit of a warm breeze coming off the sea. You get warm days (with the occasional wet day) and a bit cooler at night. Still managed to get sunburnt through the clouds!

The biggest difference you'll notice if you've been other times of year is that the sun sets about 4pm. This does eat into time at the pool. You need to be out early to get a full day in, as the sun is setting behind the buildings around 3pm. I've noticed there's more of a focus on night time activities and easier / quieter days because of this.
