Maybe you give away some of the nice t-shirts you have for the cruise Steve a little piece offering. I know you can't do anything about the weather as I've said that several times even quoted Jimmy Buffett's " You can't reason with hurricane season". A little sorry things didn't work out to your expectations but please accept this little token, hope you give us another chance. Our trip she was green at the end because a storm came up I realize shit happens beyond your control and I'm sure he can see that because he or she has worked in the industry. So I'm sure a little something in acknowledgement would go a long way.

 

Seems to us that this should have been discussed between Steve and the op..........privately. Clearly the weather was poor at best.......................the amends need to be between the Steve and the op. No one else ought to be so critical of anyone..........IOO. The haters are not helping anyone at this point!

I don't believe I was whining, and I think if you'd been on that boat you wouldn't have had a great time either. But again, it was our choice to go. On the return, EVERYONE including the entertainment staff was crammed into the back of the boat, I believe that's called shelter from the storm. Wrath of God rain. I'm not asking for a refund it was our choice to go. Should have just ate the $70 deposit. My biggest problem? $200 for the cruise and you charge me $3.50 for a 4 ounce coffee for my wife at lunch because she was chilled to the bone. I bought it and the $3 raincoat we were charged $10 for, but I passed on the $6 Bacardi to wash down my below average meal with. Look, we love Temptation and will be back next year, but come on people, you've got to call a spade a spade when appropriate.

 

I agree with you...if it rains while I am there I'm going to call my travel agent and ask for a refund for my vacation. Especially because I'm traveling during hurricane season.

 

The Coast Guard knows the sea, the Captain knows the boat, and in this case, Omar knows the people. Why not ask his opinion on the conditions of this cruise? He (and whoever else the crew was that day in the absence of Steve, Jannet, and Chinos) would know exactly what the feelings of the cruisers were, and just how bad (or not that bad) the conditions were for them.

 

And by the way, I don't want anyone to think I'm taking one side over the other in the above post, because I'm not. I don't have a stake in this either way.
