    Thanks for the feedback

    However, I'm not sure what I can "address" to prevent it raining in Cancun (during rainy season), or how to deal with the situation when 2000 miles away at the time.

    I think he is just saying there is rain and doing your best to ignore it and have fun and there is unsafe conditions for your passengers and not being able to enjoy the experience cause they are just trying to be safe ...I am sure if more on the cruise would comment on here that it maybe seen as this was just more than a passing rain shower as it seems it's being made out to be ... as was mentioned in my post and the other passengers post it truly was a very unsafe feeling on there that folks took the ferry back as a precaution

    But nobody can suggest how I can remedy it, because it is a situation that is out of my control.

    Sh$t happens and that's part of life, live and learn. People are upset and hey that's ok. Can't please everyone all the time. How do you think the people on the west coast of Mexico feel right now? F$ck me now that's a storm! Not to down play what this thread is about, however Steve has put his best foot forward and other than him pay everyone back it's starting to look like "sorry" isn't enough. He has a business to run and they do a hell of a job. Guarantee you'll never find anything else like this anywhere else. Sounds like this is something to learn from and move on. Other wise this is starting to go in circles like a one legged stripper

    Well as the one who looks after the cruises the situation that day has been mentioned to you by two customers now so it's really up to you how you feel the situation is best remedied ....as someone who worked in customer service industry for over 25 years for world class museums and official hall of fames I know that I use to find it very annoying when the customers made demands as to what they wanted if they felt their visit was unsatisfactory if there was a section of the museum that was closed or if the interactive games area was having computer glitches that day but I would listen and compensate what I felt was being fair and hoping to maintain a positive relationship with the public ... so I can't tell you how to remedy it I leave that up to you

    in Devil Horns defense, we were on that cruise, and it was indeed miserable. We should have cancelled in the morning but didn't. I know next time we'll wait until we're there and get on a waiting list. If we cruise fine, if not we'll hang at the pool no problem. It was the worst rain you could imagine, not a normal shower. I'm sure the guys on the boat got paid, and they weren't happy either, but we get it.
