Not sure if this is a dumb question or not. Looking to purchase some alcohol when we land. How do you get to the liquor store? At the airport I remember walking past it each time while heading to the return flight, after going up the escalator, but don't remeber ever seeing it on arrival, and after getting thru customs. I would rather pay more at the airport then worrying about going to Walmart.
depends which Terminal you land at. one of them you can get stuff at the ''duty free',, not at T2 ask your driver to stop somewhere
I think you have to be on the way out the country to buy generally. The whole duty free thing is so you don't consume it while in the country you bought it. Bringing your bottles in packed luggage is easier, or just have the driver stop.
That's what I thought too but one of the terminals does have a duty free on the way out Sent from my SM-G870W using Tapatalk
There is a duty free shop in the area you pick up your luggages but you might get better prices at the duty free shop in the states
arriving from Canada NO arriving from USA yes different terminals they call it ''Duty free'' which is confusing by USA / CDN standards
Thanks for the input. I'm not looking for something to take home. Looking for something for the resort. Specifically Fireball. According to our tickets we arrive at Terminal 3, which is the same terminal we leave from, so that should have the liquor store there, it did last year, I remember walking thru it. I was wondering how you get there from where we will be at after landing? Maybe it's not possible?
I could be wrong but i'm pretty sure you can't get Fireball in Mexico. I know many who bring it with them...me included. Christy
