So home today with a cold or something so have time to do a mini review/recap. Day 1- Left Raleigh at 6 AM to sideways rain and overall a nasty morning so needless to say, we were ready for some sunshine. On our flight down to Miami, we had the pleasure of sitting beside this ray of sunshine that claimed I first hit her with my book bag and second, stepped on her toe. This same ray of sunshine also fussed at a passenger walking by when he ALMOST hit her with his bag. It was clear to see why she was flying alone. From Miami we hop on a flight to Cancun, arrive in Cancun with no issues at along the way. We walk outside to get transportation and see- more rain. Fortunately it clears up and a short 20 mins later we have arrived at TTR for our first time. We walk into the resort and literally in less than 3 mins, I see this couple looking our way and they say- Jon and Crissy? It was Darin and Melissa who just happened to be at the front desk for something. We chat for a bit and they tell us where to meet up later to find the group. Our room wasn't ready so we changed at the spa, grabbed some brunch and we were headed to the pool before noon. Darin and Melissa find us at the pool bar and they are with some friends including Mike and Pam. Soon after Melissa disappears and comes back with a tower of shots and just like that we have had our first shots at TTR. D and M point us toward the fun hole, we have find a spot to sit our stuff down and jump in and start introducing ourselves to people. The first afternoon was fun and we could tell it was going to be a very fun trip. After many drinks we leave to go check on our room and grab some lunch. We wanted to upgrade to a Jacuzzi suite and since they didn't have any the first night, we got placed on a third floor room with a double bed, not a bad room and switching rooms wasn't a big of a pain as I expected. Anyhow, that night for dinner we met with our NC friends for dinner at Margaritas (I think) then head down to Paty-Os. After about 2 mins at Paty-Os this cute little blonde starts waving and when she says- 'Hey Yall!!' we know immediately it's Jenn. Crissy and I meet her and LT and have more shots and dance a little, meet more people, then more shots until we are finally spent around midnight. Day 1 ends and it was a blast and we are already excited about Day 2.
Glad u guys had fun. I think Darin and Melissa must just hang out in the lobby area as that happened to us on both of our last two trips to TTR
Day 2, 3, 5 I've lumped these days in together because it seemed like we followed a similar pattern each day. We are cursed with the inability to sleep late so that means each day we woke up at or before 7 AM. First step in each day was the breakfast buffet. It's not a bad buffet but as you an imagine after 5 days it does get old but it does the trick. After we eat we get back to our room by 8 AM and since there is nothing to do then we usually went back to sleep. By 11ish we were up and ready to start the day by the pool. We always left a note to housekeeping to give us more water and Coke Zero along with some tip money. They came through each time. Most days at the fun hole with the Octoberbreast followed the same routine. Get there around noon - it's pretty tame with people just sipping on drinks, and chatting. By 3ish it goes up a notch. Then by 5 it gets crazy fun. By this time the fun hole is full, AIWC is out and on any willing boob, gummy bears are out, shots are passed around regularly - it's a good time to say the least. By about 6:30 - Crissy has usually had enough shots and is cold (sun goes behind the building) so we go back to the room and pass out until about 9 when we would wake up and go eat. We did the Asian twice (our favorite), Italian once (second favorite) and Caribbean once (least favorite of everything). After dinner, Crissy would insist on a shot of tequila and then we would head for Paty-Os. As side note- Paty-Os is fun and all but for us we wish there was another option to head to such as a lounge with light music, couches, maybe a pole, somewhere to go to chat with people that you want to get to know better. Anyhow- after about an hour or so at Paty-Os we are ready to turn in and to start it all over the next day.

Hell, there is a pole right in the middle of the disco! How could u miss that Saturday night. It got pretty hot on that pole, so hot.
