To my untrained eye, it does appear setup for three rooms but man that's an odd way to do a test run. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
HAHA.. A test run of three rooms? I've never seen that in any construction project ever. With a good CAD design you can virtually walk through any project without so much as lifting a tool. Do they want to slide the beds around or something, or test curtains? LOL It's certainly a creative response from the staff, and I suppose anything is possible (it is Mexico after all) but it sure seems unlikely. Especially when the rooms are the standard "cookie-cutter" variety like the rest of those common to nearly every resort in the area. This is going to be fun to watch the progress! I'll be there in a month to check it out for myself if I can take my blood shot eyes away from the pool.
Agreed. I had the boss pretty excited about going back to cancun with a June trip to TTR and a later July trip to her favorite place in Jamaica..now, who knows...Hopefully we will have more info sooner than later..
I honestly can't see them just adding rooms on top of the existing buildings - what the property/rooms really need are major infrastructure improvements (think plumbing, HVAC, etc.) and I don't think that can really be accomplished without complete teardowns of some of the really old buildings. Plus - where are you going to add elevators? As weird as it might be I suppose building "test" units on top of a building (not like they have any spare room and they'd be out of sight for the most part) does make some sense...and it's normally easier to build new vs. remodeling existing rooms.
I know it sounds odd to us too, but he had all the info including existing employ contracts, future contracts, job security and so on. Of course he may not have been getting the full story...but he has been bang on with everything in the past!?!? Only time will tell... just another story in the Temptation saga!!lol
We are there 10/25-11/2. Fortunately, we are in the 3000 block. It is going to be interesting to see what is actually going on. I'm curious to hear what Aisha tells us.
Thanks to CCC members this is going to be one well documented, closely followed construction project. We'll probably know most of the workers by name at this rate. Maybe we should get them signed up here? Day 1 on job site... Here's your hard hat, and your CCC login info. Be sure to post a couple pics of the wifey when you get time. LOL
They should build a deep underwater restaurant with a glass ceiling under the sexy pool so you could see up and into it. Won't take up any more space and what a view it would have lol!
