I actually just booked our trip yesterday for November 5-9 and it was cheaper for jacuzzi room than the standard room. Weird right!? Anyway, we've had jacuzzi rooms before and never made use of it. So I guess it's up to you if you think you'll make use of it enough to justify the additional cost. On the plus side the jacuzzi rooms are on the quiet side so you have a good location...at least they used to be. We haven't been in a few years. Sorry, I'm probably not very helpful.
We love the Jacuzzi rooms, we try to get one every trip! We use it everyday, great way to relax and my husband loves to be naked and its a great place to see shows!
Personally, we love it, and we get a jacuzzi room every time. We're the type to have a jacuzzi every day (usually between the daytime pool fun and dinner, and then late night after Paty'Os fun with a few more people). Also love that it guarantees a ground floor unit (no stairs in heels!) and great for meeting people and balcony shows. We also smoke, so having the larger balcony makes sense and the added space makes your room seem bigger. Tip: If you're not sure, upgrade for just 1-2 days and see if you like it. Downgrade back to a garden/ocean view if it's not worth it to you (chances are, they will just keep you in the jacuzzi room)
We were offered a Jacuzzi room, sea view for $50 a night, but standard room was nicer so we stayed put.
fyi,,, fill jacuzzi half way before you go out,,, then when you are ready to use it, just put hot water in only,,,, otherwise you are wasting precious time filling it and it takes for ever
We've had a Jacuzzi room our past couple of trips and will also again for H-n-H week. We haven't turned it on once. That will change on this trip. We also like the location and the fact that they're on the ground floor.
