I hope the press release says more. Like timing and whether complete renovation means complete shutdown. Wow, a resort in Miami would be amazing. Wishful thinking only at this point though of course. I am not that gullible
The Golden Parnassus kind of did, but those days are gone, and you had to time it right with a good crowd. It wasn't a guarantee. It's set up more like Desire though, and without the nudity. Laying around during the day, and then the party is at the Tiki bar at night with a hot tub near by that can get crazy. With no security there, I saw some things that were could only be called, sex acts. They've changed management though, and seem to be changing that concept, and not many repeaters say they are coming back. So they are no competition.
I've been to the Golden Parnassus ... it is very PG-13 rated ... and on a good day it's only R rated. When I was there, if any of the girls went topless, they were asked politely to put it back on. It was very low-key during the day, to the point of being boring. At night the Tiki bar was definitely the place to be, but it really depended on what crowd was there. Out of the week that I was there, the craziest thing I ever saw there was some belly shots and a couple of girls making out, but it looked quick and passion-less (LOL). Whatever action was there didn't last all night. The biggest plus about the GP is the huge HOT tub with infinity edge that overlooked the ocean. It was actually HOT and not just bubbled pool water. Me and the hubby had to be asked to put our clothes on more than once in there! The staff there was great, but I definitely wouldn't go back there again. Looking forward to upping my game at TTR! This is exactly what the Hedo repeaters that have been going there for the last 40yrs say. And that is exactly why its a dump. Ownership there never needed to make renovations or put money back into the resort because they knew, that no matter how bad things got, they knew that the old time repeaters would always come back. Nice to hear that the new ownership there finally decided to make some reno's and spend some money. We would just hate to see TTR go down that same road. (Some say it has already) We've been to Desire now several times and simply have not seen this. People there are just as friendly to us whether they know we're in the LS or not. That is why we keep going back. Again, just our opinion. We love TTR, but we also don't want to see it be managed like the previous owners of Hedo. Yes, its not about the rooms or even the food, but hey, aren't we paying for that as well?
Yeah, that is mostly what goes on there, more quiet. We were lucky. Lots of body shots with no shirts on, saw a bj at the tiki, and on two nights a lady had a vibrator used on her. I shouldn't even had brought it up, because from what I've read the place is more pg than pg-13 now. I just brought it up because it is close to the price range of TTR, and is one of the few adult only places. Oh, and the first year we went there the hot tub was broke, so that kind of sucked.
Not sure if this is news or not: We are are TTR right now and construction as already begun. They are building what looks like new rooms on the roof of the building between the sports pool and the quiet pool. I wish I knew how to post a picture... But really too drunk to even try right now
