Cigar bar no more?

So, last year when we went to TTR, we determined to find this cigar bar that we had heard about but never seen. Shoot it took us two or three visits before we found the nice shoes lounge! So, we asked around, got some vague directions, and found this hidden stairway. Feeling as though we were entering a 'do not enter' zone, we crept up, turned the corner, and found this wonderful semi-open air bar, with a fountain. I vaguely recall a possible hot tub, but I was impaired slightly! It appeared abandoned, and we didn't make it back later to see if our initial determination was accurate. My question is, does anyone know if this bar is operational? Not real sure if I could find it again, but it looked like a great place to party!:flash:

 

Correct. It doesn't get used much/is off the beaten path but it's very nice. It's not well maintained, but it can be opened with permission from the resort for private parties.

 

You will need to get permission to use this area. And, they do not have any TTR staff member that will serve you, nor clean up. One year, we H & H's /CCC used it and had a wonderful time. Everyone BOB and helped clean up. Very nice ; ) Again- Hats off to Jim & Cheryl !

Yes, private parties!!

 

Last week they were removing the furniture not sure why but there was nothing left.

 

Given what Steve posted yesterday about an impending official announcement about the renovation, I'm guessing they are getting ready to do some work, or demo.
