    So we got the official confirmation from one of the front desk people here at Desire that they are going to completely tear down TTR next year. So I'm thinking we should all come here next year :)

    I couldn't help reading this with jacquie's voice in my head. I don't think anyone else could get away with saying "sucked rhino cock" but it seemed so right to hear it from Jacquie.

    This really isn't USA Transfers fault. They are only allowed to take pre-booked services.

    To accept extra people who are not part of the pre-booking means they would be acting as a taxi. Obviously this pisses off the taxi drivers who are deprived of a fare - which indeed was the case here, since you needed to then take a cab.

    If the USA driver had taken you then taxi drivers would report it to the syndicato (their Union) who could then dispute USA's operations licence, which in turn could lead to the driver being disciplined or fired.

    There have been cases in the past (not just with USA but all private transportation service in the Cancun area, and particularly Puerto Morelos) where taxis have blockaded vehicles, damaged them, assaulted drivers and fought with Police trying to quell the situation. It would not be beyond a Cancun taxi driver who knew of such an instance to phone ahead to his buddies in Puerto Morelos who could cause problems on your arrival.

    You just need to make sure that the number of people is pre-booked. An email the day before, or I could have phoned it through on the cruise, would have made all ok.

    So I suppose what I'm saying is this wasn't just a case of the driver being an ass, there are valid reasons why he couldn't add you to the van.

    Shit like this is best avoided for all concerned:

    I feel both of your frustrations!!! Leaving Charlotte, NC for Hartford we sat on the tarmack for 60 extra mins, first because some paperwork hadn't been signed for the flight and then more waiting in line to take off!!!!

    Then what should have been our 1/2 hr. car trip from the airport at that time of night (9 pm) was an hour + because the highway was closed down to just one lane for 8 miles due to paving and 7 of those miles NO ONE WAS DOING a DAMN THING!!! But the cones were up and no crossing!!!!! Grrrrrrrrr, after a 12 hour day of travel I just wanted my bed!!!









    Oh my, where do I start???? LOL Since we started the week before you it was nice that we were "eased into" things....
    • Going topless for the first time....EVER!!
    • Meeting some really Awesome people from Both months!!
    • Both of us dressing up for theme nights, NOT a regular thing here, back home! lol
    • Doing TWO Boobs cruises!!! Small boat was intimate and the BIG BOAT was Epic and Rowdy!!
    • Having Dinner with sevaral new friends and really getting to know them!!!
    • Taking the wrong bus to Wal-Mart (went in opposite direction) and getting a $4 tour of Cancun!!
    • Never did get a taste of those gummies everyone kept talking about!! LOL My attempt turned into things that looked like breast implants!! LMAO
    • Watching my Crazy ass hubby let loose and dance in a pink thong at Nice Shoes in honor of the tata's!! lingerie night Men's Winner EPIC just EPIC!!
    • Meeting the Boobs Cruise Crew and Owners, you rock!!!
    • Skinny Dipping in the Caribbean ocean with new friends.
    • Who could forget those Crazy Brits!!! Pink Cowboy hats baby!!!
    • And last but certainly not Least, Getting that fire back!! Love you Tim!!!!!!!

    Yes totally agree and understand. We know of the history, decided to ask because we wanted to hang w Darin/Melissa but then when it didn't work we went with the taxi immediately so there would be no problem. It worked out in the long run and right we won't even bother asking again.
