Changing your dates for a lot of women would be unsuccessful because the stress or relaxation , sudden change in moods, due to flying /vacation /ect ... can trigger an unscheduled cycle.

Yeah, definitely the Softcup...was turned on to it for a similar situation and now have when away from tampons all together and just use the Softcup exclusively. May take a little practice to insert/remove effectively but once you figure it out it's great! Hope this helps.

Can't believe this topic has gone on for as long as it has. In this day and age with birth control pills and other things being on the market to help keep Aunt Flo from interrupting your holiday. Yes it's a natural body function and every woman goes through this every month until at long last she arrives at menopause and the I'm hot no I'm cold no wait I'm hot again and you snore to loud or to light or you breath funny stage. So the question I have is this were there no close friends that you could have posed this question to. You know the group of gals you eat lunch with everyday and discuss all kinds of things including this and how good or bad hubby was last night.

 

I ordered a tablet from the chemist last year that just delayed things a bit to cover the holidays without needing pill or anything like that! Job sorted!! Wouldn't dream of going away for a week as a couple and having that interfer with anything!
