From day o e of my trip my monthly is scheduled... So to fix it so I don't have it at all I've started on birth control to change the days. I've had to do it for the other two times I've been to TTR (poor planning lol). But it has worked for me and many people I know. You just have to plan it right for when to start. It can take unto two months to change but if you start now or in next few days you should be good for no monthly for whole trip

Old stripper tip: just cut the string off honey. Cut it before you insert and it will still leave a tiny piece of string connected after you insert. When u go to remove it should be right at opening. Practice one first.
On another note, call your ob/gyn, tell then your going diving, and ask for a pack of birth control pills to stop your period. Start taking right away and you should be able to postpone that period until you get home.

Yep I agree with getting birth control pills ASAP. Not difficult to get, and it will just shorten, skip or delay your period until after your trip. Easy peasy.
