That can happen, but when it goes beyond what you want, just say "no." In all the times we've been to TTR, there was only one guy (drunk married man) who didn't stop with that. The fingernails in his shoulder seemed to get the Message across though.
I can so relate too. Not a hugger, don't even shake hands much (rather fist bump) but in the last decade my life is changing. I married a filipana girl who hugs and hugs and hugs. Then their family hugs and hugs and hugs, then her friends hugs and hugs and hugs. When I visit the Philippines (twice a year) everyone hugs over there, so I have been getting a lot of training. Also, my Doctor put me on Zoloft :ladiesman1: ... so now I am much better. I talk to strangers, hug when approach by others who want to hugs and smile at strangers. Now I tell people I love them way too much...of course the beer also helps... My plan at TTR is to smile and listen as much as I can. If someone wants to hug ...cool... if not a fist bumps works for me. But I rarely initiate the hugs... being old and ugly helps .... Did I mention I am going to the Philippines for a month in less than 5 days....:mnm:
I thought we all go to TTR to drink more and hug more! No one knows you and nobody gives a shit! Hug away
How much I Monique hug is dependent on how loaded I could be. I have hugged people that I have chatted here with and just met for the first time. Friends or my cancuncare friends, I hug all the time. I have become so close with people we have met a TTR and I am sure you will as well. We have a blast with Cancuncare friends in Cancun and outside of Cancun as well. Enjoy the experience, there is nothing like it. Glenn well he hugs girls lol
