I brought a birthday cake one year. Doubt I'll do that again, it was difficult to explain at customs and had to tick the 'yes I have food with me' box on the customs form. Have also had a lot of strange things for theme nights, from neon pink tutus, full head rubber zebra mask, to wigs, dog collar/leash, flashing bunny ears and second skin suits! The one that got the most attention was my homemade question card card game - that got fully swabbed leaving the UK airport, I think they thought it was an elaborate way to smuggle drugs INTO Mexico. It was basically a deck of plastic cards, sealed together with cellotape with a bunch of funny, interesting or rude questions to pose to fellow TTR's at the pool. Fun game but not worth the customs hassle again!
Really who goes through an elaborate ruse such as that in order to smuggle drugs into Mexico I mean come on if you can get it there why SMUGGLE IT IN....:banghead::banghead::banghead:
