We're a British couple in our 30's. Very used to nudity with the female half usually wearing a thong and going topless even in resorts where it isn't the norm. Things are always much more comfortable with likeminded people though so we're thinking of heading to Desire next year. We're not into the lifestyle but are probably more open than ever. Don't know if we'd ever go for it but it turns us on when we're 'in the zone'. We went to Temptation once after a stormy Boobs Cruise and the toplessness and sexiness all seemed a bit 'forced' which didn't do it for us really as we're used to that from a normal European vacation. Don't get me wrong, the people were great (many of whom are on this forum) We're used to nudity so it was a bit contrived. We're looking for somewhere chilled out where people can be topless and a bit raunchy without total chaos ensuing around us for chaos' sake! We turned down some swingers we got on with at a 'standard' resort in the DR and considered going through with it because it just developed naturally and was chilled out. We don't want to go to a place where people are doing it for the sake of it. We'd rather a chilled vibe where people are naked because that's cool and they're just doing their thing and any sexual stuff develops naturally and as a result of hanging out. Made-up fun isn't fun in our opinion. Will Desire be a good bet for us? If not any suggestions? Hope all that makes sense and hope it hasn't offended anyone. It wasn't meant in that way! We appreciate all the help we get and the people we met in 2013 were wonderful!!! Also we normal to for luxury hotels. Anything that fits the bill? Thanks muchly.
Yes I think that Desire Resorts would suit you well. Best advice is to try both. Riviera Maya & Pearl. You could split your holiday between the two resorts. Pearl has the least number of rooms & we find it very relaxing but extremely sexy. We are trying out Riviera Maya next week.

Go. You'll never regret it. Desire & Desire Pearl are different animals to TTR. I would suggest RM (purely on your age). It's SO chilled out (no pressure, ever) but SO naughty (if you want). The service, food etc is that much more ($$$) than TTR....Never 'enforced' (I understand what you're saying) PM if you want to ask any specifics. :daisy::england:
Based on your description and explanation of why TTR was not the right fit, I think Desire would be perfect for you. I agree with gogo's thoughts.
The demographic 'tends' to be a bit younger than Pearl, and the nights (in our opinion) are more fun there, re the disco and playroom. Pearl's disco tends to empty early, and the fun heads to the jacuzzi. We do love them both though! :daisy:
What kind of activities are there? We're very active and usually play a lot of volleyball or beach games. Is this an option or is just 'sexy' games?
They have both sexy games and beach volleyball everyday. A few other non-sexy games as well like ping pong, corn hole
Well, there Pearl wins hands down! 8 entertainers, all full of energy, something going on all day, corn hole, volleyball, water polo, pool casino, aqua-Zumba, dance classes etc etc etc. Currently the entertainment crew at RM is down to 3 newbies, who really haven't a clue, and were resorting to using the guests as entertainment (cringe-worthy). :daisy:
