My friend that is traveling with me in may has her driver license with her first name her maiden name and her last name what I'm worried about is her getting a passport with her name as it states on her drivers license. Has anyone else had this problem and how to solve this please help us
Where is she traveling from. The US, she needs a passport that match her airline ticket. She does not need a drivers license at all. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
As long as the travel documents (passport )match the ticket information there shouldnt be a problem. You can always give a call to a travel agent and confirm with them they should be able to tell you for sure what's required as they deal with this everyday.
I travel from Canada and my passport & ticket have my maiden name. Once my passport expires I will renew it with my married name but I'm not paying the full price to renew for a name change. Everything else I do like drivers license, taxes, work etc is my married name. Just make sure the passport and ticket and hotel reservation matches
Thanks guys i will get her to fill out the paperwork for her passport with her maiden name if possible
When I applied for my passport, I used my maiden as my middle and have had no problems. Trina Fentress Boyte
I have been told if the passport and ticket name do not match they will not let you on the plane Sent from my SM-G870W using Tapatalk
My passport is still in my maiden name - I've been to TTR twice with it (and again in 2 months). As long as your passport name matches airline tix & hotel res it's fine. I never show my drivers license at all the entire trip.
