My apologies if this question has been asked before. With my parents watching our kids we were hoping the resort had a vanilla phone number where they don't answer the phone "Temptation Resort, everyones naked and drunk, what can we do for you?" Any ideas out there or thoughts on this?
Tell your parents you going someplace special and after this trip they may get another grandchild out of it, they will not care where your going. T
Take your iPad. Pay for wifi. Tell mom if you need to talk, facetime so you can see the kids. It's what we did last year and mom never once questioned us.
I am pretty sure they aren't going to answer the phone and say something funny and/or perverted like that. If they just say the name of the resort, they will most likely say it fast and with a accent, and it won't be blatantly obvious what they are saying. Your parents most likely won't even catch on. When at the resort, and you call the front desk, they always answer in Spanish first anyway. Then after you begin to speak in English they switch over.
I would assume that should a situation arise where they needed to contact you in a hurry it would be one where they are in a heightened sense of urgency and the last thing they'll care about is what resort you are at. Hopefully such a situation never occurs.
Although we never had to have either of our parents watch the kids the first time we went, I remember that we did inform them that we were going to a resort of an adult nature, though they did have some questions surrounding the property we felt that it was better coming from us. We thought if they ever had to call the resort and then did research on line and came across the postings on Trip Advisor they'd be doing a WTF kind of resorts do you two go to when we got back.....and what we told them was this we're going to an all adult resort it has humour of an adult nature, they have games where drinking and possible nudity occur, and it's topless optional. Of course at the time I was 45 and she was younger than me by ( a gentlemen never tells his ladies age come on) and we said although we are your children we're both adults and we will see you when we get back. And if you've ever read the Trip Advisor reports on this place you'll be sad as there is no nonstop orgy that starts the minute you check in and ends right after you check out....
we just get the international plan on our cell phones for when we are there and call or use face time from them, easier for everyone that way.

It be a lot weirder for my family if they found out I was NOT going to a crazy party resort. Steve: Yea dad we are just going to a relaxing hotel this time. Hopefully I can finish a few books.
