Your target for a jacuzzi room which are the rooms around the quiet pool first level with an almost 4 person jacuzzi on the balcony should be $50 a night. They will quote you much higher typically.

For a jacuzzi suite which means jacuzzi in the bathroom but big balcony facing the ocean on the ends of the quiet pool rooms should be $75 a night but $100 is more typical.

Oh and you always have more negotiating power at check in than in advance. But if you must absolutely have a jacuzzi room then you can email them in advance and try to set it up. As they will sell out in busy times. Typically early and mid October is not a busy time though.

 

One of our negatives w TTR is the food. Agree w Steve on the wok atmosphere but the food there is very very bland for Asian.

 

We NEVER make reservations. Hate being tied to a time. And we never go to the buffet. We don't eat a lot. Well except we do go for bfast. Great bfast buffet.

We basically tip the host at Asian or Italian $10 to $20 depending on how busy it is an every time, except once, they have found us a table. Need to be very discreet about it though.

 

Our room description says this. Jacuzzi Suite with Terrace 418 Sq.Ft Pool View - 1 king bed.

Any thoughts on a room like this that is better or worse? I was thinking about one closer to the Quiet Pool bar?

 

You are there already. All jacuzzi suites are around the quiet pool. The Temptation suite is the bigger one with ocean view and jacuzzi bathtub in the bathroom not on the patio

 

Fireball is the devil. It has ended many of nights for us. When that happens I call it being 'firestalled'.
