After reading through several threads and trip reports, we have a simple question...

Are there "good" and "better" times to go to Temptations?

We have a time in mind when our schedules allow for longer than a couple days of traveling (late April/early May) and were wondering how that time of year rates.

We went in January last year when it wasn't sold out and it was a lot of fun and seemed pretty wild and crazy. Just our kinda fun. Then we went at Halloween when it was sold out and found out just how wild and crazy it can be there. I highly recommend going there then. We haven't been in April or May so I can't help you there.

7th trip coming up in April 2016 - have been once in July was fun but (HOT!) always go the last 2 weeks in April - is off the hook fun! Honestly we have never heard of a bad time to go really..... as long as you bring your party attitude and the TTR mantra "Nobody Knows You and Nobody Gives a Shit"! you will have a blast! :)

Is the craziness in late April because it's still catching people on spring break?

We've gone in mid to late March (spring break), had a great time as always, but was somewhat subdued and weather was iffy. We've gone late May (memorial weekend, usually when we get go) and had a blast!! Great crowd! Great weather! We've gone in late June and once again had a blast with a great crowd! This will be our first time in November and from the different threads, I'm expecting a great time. So, long post short, it's a good time no matter when you go, but I think trying to schedule a trip around a holiday seems to ensure you'll have a blast. Hope this helps, and have fun!

If you are looking for a big time party, April and May are both good, and the weather is great. If you want to see the place in full swing, with lots of people on here, and lots of participants for the theme nights, then look into when the "April Addicts" go (not sure the dates). There is a large May group called the "Phuckers", that go toward the beginning of may (like the 3rd-10th). Be warned, most of the people in this group have mental issues. ;)

There are several large groups that have their own week or month. The fact they go to TTR to party proves they are all great people, and I would think you couldn't go wrong with any of them!

We have been late april, early may and it is a busy fun time. If that works best for your schedule I definitely would not hesitate going then.

    Thanks for the feedback!

We went ahead and pulled the trigger... booked for the first week in May!

Another question... We booked through RCI and know we have to pay the all-inclusive fee. Website says it's $90US/day but it's unclear to us whether that's per person or per room. Can anyone clarify?

That would be per person. Start getting excited, you are in for the time of your life. We went for our first time in October of 2010, heading back for our 10th trip this October.
