Octoberbreast 2015 planning thread!

We haven't made it past the 'talking' stage. We are taking things slow and only moving forward when both are comfortable. I'm a little more curious about LS then he is so we are moving at his pace I know when it feels right it will happen. He is on board with that plan. Maybe another answer to Darin's question from yesterday...is same room sex but we each stay with our hubby's I think it might be a 'gentle' sexy step in the right direction.

 

Nikki, our first experience in the LS was same room sex with our best friends on our 20th anniversary celebration cruise. After we got back Darin was on the internet and said I think we are swingers. The rest is history, albeit alot of arguments and disagreements later but also some great fun times too. We are definitely closer now as a couple because of the LS. We used to never fight and keep everything bottled up but learned through this that you cannot survive in this without the discussion and fights. We wouldn't have it any other way.

I can imagine. I definitely see how it could be wrong for the wrong couple and really good for another. I think (I could be totally wrong) that this is a good option for us. I definitely think there would be a learning curve. Like I said I'm all for baby steps...if it takes years (or never happens) then I'm cool with that.

This is only our third trip to TTR but I've managed to pack for 5 nights using just a small carry on and never felt I was forgetting anything. Here's my (very minimalistic) list:

Flip flops (wear the same pair to the pool every day, it doesn't really matter since you will be drunk in the pool all day anyway)
bikini bottoms- one for each day you're there. Try different styles so you have a slightly less harsh tan line
bikini top- maybe one. Two if it's first time and you want to wait until you're at the pool before stripping down. Either way you won't be wearing it for longer then 10 mins x day
Cover ups (sheer/mini)- 2 so you can cover up for breakfast and lunch. I switch them each day in case one is still damp from the day before. They're usually smaller than separates shorts/shirts so you save a little room.
Heels- I brought just ONE nude pair and made sure they matched all my theme outfits
Theme night outfits
Sunscreen
Makeup&toiletries&hair styling stuff
Bubba mugs

 

I could never survive with just one pair of heels.

 

Exactly why we are checking in a bag this time- 7 nights require a lot more pairs of heels

 

Ha. Yeah you have it right. I love the pre trip anticipation and hype almost as much as the actual trip (well not quite but you get the point). Makes the days fly by. So the fact that we have to go shorter this year and only do one resort and it is RM over TTR makes me conflicted on what to contribute. So many people from the last few years we hate to miss (although 8 of you we will see at rm hooray) and so many great interesting new people make it extra difficult to stay away from TTR and the discussion. For a minute or two thought hell maybe we should do TTR for two days then rm for three anyway but then realized Darin and Melissa that timing would not be good for seeing you guys so scraped that idea quickly. So end result is responding to the general questions here and there but not the this year specific ones. But as we are 20 days away it becomes harder and harder to stay away Never as much chatter from the Desire folks. Much smaller resort and there is a separate forum but still quiet

 

I will bring 6 bikini bottoms, 2 bikini tops, a couple cotton sundresses/coverups, flip flops, a couple skirts/tank tops for suppers plus theme night stuff. I don't bring/wear heels.

Then some toiletries, SPF, lotion, bubba's and we are good to go.

I've seen a couple of posts on here regarding lifestyle / swinging / threesomes etc. The term 'Lifestyle' addresses many groups of people, from naughty sexiness through to full-blown gang-bangs and orgies. We have attended several 'Lifestyle Parties' where you will see the full spectrum of these, but believe me they are great fun and you get to meet a great group of people. In my opinion, anyone on here heading to TTR could class themselves as 'in the lifestyle', because we are all getting excited about the sexually charged atmosphere and the accompanying antics. Does that make us all swingers? - no, it makes us fun-loving voyeurs. Let's forget about classifications, let our hair down and let loose for a while. Life is too short.
