Thinking about day pass to Desire during Temptation stay. How does this work?

It's a rip off in my opinion. But, we felt it was better to try it out for a day before booking a trip and not enjoying it. Luckily we did because the wife wasn't into it at all. Just a very different atmosphere.

I think it's like everything else we've seen and heard about with Original. They don't have policies that make sense and the rules go out the window on occasion. If you really want to try it you'll have to try your luck with negotiating it. We got lucky. We've heard that it's not the norm. Also, be prepared for them to almost flat out ask you if you're ok with the "lifestyle." We basically had to give our full story about how long we've been together and that we'd been involved in those situations before.

May have just been our age though. Most people don't realize that you can be young and have a lot of experience.

 

Dammit Kyle I had 7-1/2 hours as the time when you'd post in a thread mentioning Desire and you only took 5hrs 20mins.

 

I know your kidding and all but he did ask about Desire specifically, and I did make it helpful I believe and this time I don't think I was promoting Desire at all but actually criticizing their policy right? Just the facts man

Regarding the time to post, yeah I am slipping. But with a trip 22 days away my ccc obsession will only be growing from here until touchdown

But seriously, as you know the majority of the management is very logical and willing to discuss your points and listen. However, every once in a while you hit a policy where they are like 'we agree with you but this is just the way it has to be'. So no matter how ludicrous it is they tend to stick to it.

Will do. I have decided it is safe for us to move back to Pennsylvania from Alaska by the way. Mr sanity seems to have moved on to bigger and better adventures. Cant wait for the sept trip reports

 

I normally pay no attention to TR's.....but I look forward to some Sept reviews as well

 

I have a friend who said they went for the day to DRM on their last trip - All they had to do was attend the timeshare presentation. TTR covered the taxi.

We love Disney, been there about 4 times in the last 6 years. I must admit I do like getting the wife to flash me on the rides. Must have a dozen pictures or so from different locations.

 

We definitely had to pay for our taxi out of pocket.
