Lol, the packing is the easy part for us. I put my swimsuits and coverups in ziploc baggies (the cheapo version of Space Bags),and keep any actual costumes in the bags in which they arrived. The rest of my clothes fit rather well. I use my Bubba mug to keep a bikini and cover-up in my purse/pool tote, in case our room isn't ready. The only "bulky" stuff I have is shoes, which I put in my carryon. I always intend to bring only a few pairs, but you know what they say about intentions . . . I still have some shopping to do, but I'm about 2/3 done.
Semi-newbie question--best way to get involved? This will be our second trip (11/26-12/1)! So excited to come back!! Just wondering, I know there's a lot of group threads on here, but what is the best way to get involved? Looking to have a fun group to hang out with while we are there and didn't know the best way to make that happen. Still semi-temptations newbies here, so we appreciate the feedback!! Can't wait to get back!! :bunny:
We will be here Oct 27-Nov 3. Always like being on two separate roll calls. Give us the illusion that our time the is soooo long.
The best way to get involved is to just talk to people! Don't be shy, nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit! Every one is super friendly, we always meet great people when we go, usually just by going up to them and saying hi! And we always have a good time, whether we end up hanging with a group or couple, or just hanging out and mingling!
I agree with 9cheeks (sp?), just go up to everyone and say hi, u eventually fall into a like-minded group that way. I think by the end of our 5-day trip Lola had a hundred new friends!!!! (Of course this is Lola we're talking about ;-) Cecelia a.k.a Lola
