March of this year we lost one of our members, Scott lost his wife Susan who was battling gallbladder Cancer. They were the epitome of everything that was right for at TTR. We will miss Susan and Scott if you read this we hope you come back with us! That said I had some bands made up, these aren't meant to replace the CCC bands but we have 200 to pass out when we arrive on Saturday. Help us remember our friend Susan and keep Scott in your thoughts. Please find me so I can give you one.
Very nice Ron and they will be missed this Labor Day. I do hope Scott finds healing in his heart and makes it back some day. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
Sorry to hear this, I didn't know before. I'd like to have one please - I'll see you on the cruise on the 8th.
TatasnBeer - You are such thoughtful and wonderful friends. We did not have the pleasure of meeting your friends but our hearts are warmed by your fond memory of Susan and your tribute.
Ron, I got your "package" yesterday and I've got to tell you I had to sit down and have a good cry. I haven't been hanging out here for obvious reasons but I came online to give a shout out to you and the Labor Day crew and found this beautiful tribute. Words fail me right now for how to express how touched by your kindness I am. On a lighter note...I see that while I was opening your letter the gang was returning from a Boobs Cruise...there's some cosmic balance about that... I realize that most folks reading this won't know Susan and I, but take a look at our photo albums, the "Vows" one in particular. That was a year ago, healthy, happy, having a great time at TTR with our other family. Put aside all the trivialities of the daily grind for a moment and go find your partner and hold them and tell them that you love them, they are more precious than you can imagine. Ron, Dani and Crew, lift one up for Susan tonight and dance your butts off, she would have loved that.
The tribute to Susan was wonderful and as they played copa cabana a swish of energy past between Dave and I brought chills and we knew she was enjoying with Labor Day gang
