We spent the entire weekend (thurs-mon)upstate near the canadian border at a friends river home that dumps out into lake champlain. great weather all weekend (90's). two different days we took ferry trips over to burlington VT and the other day was spent on the waterfront in plattsburgh NY. lots of drinks, snacks,laughs & driving with the top down (900 miles). on the way home this afternoon We stopped in lake george for lunch. we have a trip to block island RI planned for early oct then the anticipation for TTR where "top down" takes on a whole different meeting...:flash: either way life is VERY good my friends......
That is so great. I am always trying to get her to drive with the top down, but never for 900 miles. Usually only get her to do it for 5 or so.......
Thanks for the memories......I have beeen to Burlington VT...but not in 35+ years.....I grew up in Burlington, Ont and they have a sports competition weekend with Burlington Vt every year. I participated as a youth. Burl. Vt is a nice town. Your post sent me on a memory motel......thanks. We are finishing another bottle of cab....watching Ian Hunter videos on Utube. He is playing tomorrow in Lewiston, N.Y. with J. Giels and we are heading there about lunchtime. So we are haulin Ass from Parry Sound. We had an abfab Labour Day Weekend! Anybody else?
