I am a big big fan of 40 Creek too!!....hell it is made 25 mins from our house. I know 2 ppl who work there. I was indulging some 40 last night Btween FB shots But, I too, am a complete beginner on Bourbon. I have only ever had Makers Mark, which I have consumed many bottles of. You are like me....Canucks! We drink Rye. Hell we were raised on it being sprinkled in our baby bottles. Howeever we decided early on, on this thread, that we would sample/tastings of bourbon this year. I would like to stick to bourbon. I see it as an opportunity to learn a bit about bourbon. Call it oir educational portion of HnH week.!! lol So ....guess I am suggesting you bring a bottle of a, as of yet, unrepresented bourbon. And join us. It will be fun Ready2Party can suggest something for you to bring. And by all means bring some 40 Creek for your self for FBF.

In states that don't have state owned liquor stores Costco sells it's Kirkland branded 7 year aged, small batch Bourbon and it's quite good.
