I just wanted some input from everyone that cares to comment. I have had my trip booked through orbitz for sept 9-16 as a single. I recently met an amazing woman who would like to come with me.. "She is great!" I was just wondering if anyone else has ever done this, and what the extra cost "other than plane ride would be. Last year we accidentally booked the hotel for 1 instead of 2 people. When I called to change it. The hotel tried to charge me extra for the "all inclusive" for the extra person. But I was able to convince them that was already included. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I own a travel agency and have used orbitz a few times as one of my suppliers if they were the low cost supplier for a customer. Many times Orbitz does not charge your card until a day or two before you arrive. I would do a new search on Orbitz( if this is the company you definitely want to deal with) and see what the room rate is for two people. then I would contact them and have them cancel your original reservation and replace it with a new one for 2 people. I used one of my suppliers to book my room that was much lower than any of the others, but Orbitz is usually pretty easy to work with...Hopefully during the dates you are coming room availablility is not a issue
