We have an ocean view room booked....What area is the best to request??? Wouldn't mind being close to Paty'O and the Sexy Pool , but we really would like to have at least somewhat of an ocean view...Have looked at the resort map and researched other threads but still a little confused?? 5500-5700 appear ocean view, as well as the 3000's??? And not sure which of the 2000's would really have any kind of view.....We do think 1st floor would be convenient, but we like to sleep with balcony door open and the higher you are, the better view???? so probably going to go with 2nd or 3rd floor...... Thoughts.....
Higher is not always better. 2 times I had an ocean view room on the 3rd or 4th floor and the trees obstructed the view. 5500 - 5700 faces the marina. You will probably prefer 3200 which overlooks the sexy pool if you are able to get one of those.
Thanks!!!! I checked trip advisor for recent pics and I can see where the view on the 3rd and 4th floor in the 3000's would be block...darn palm trees!!! LOL!!!! I bet it's super hard to get a room in the 3200's...do any of the rooms by Paty'O have a decent view???
The 1st year we got oceanview room 5523, it had a great view, also overlooks the volleyball court. 2nd floor. The last 2 years we went with garden view as we are hardly in room anyways. Always have a view from inside the sexy pool.
Guess it really all depends on what your into. We payed extra for an ocean view one trip and as usual never found ourselves sitting on the balcony enjoying it. Hard to sit and watch a beautiful day pass you by without being part of the party.
Most of the ocean view rooms at Temptation are not that great. If I were you, I would try to upgrade to the ocean front suites at check-in if you really want to have a view of the ocean (a great view while taking a shower too). We have booked the regular ocean view rooms in the past and won't anymore, because here is what you usually get to see from your balcony when you pay for an ocean view room at Temptation.
