After having this week off work I'm back on my strict eating regime,
Need to lose around 20lbs so that I can put 10lbs back on during our trip.
Thank god I've got no interest in a 6 pack.
Happy to help anyone else with motivation or advice.

It'd be virtually impossible to gain ten pounds in a week.......except maybe for water retention. To gain 10lbs of "fat" you'd have to eat essentially 35,000 more calories than you normally do in a week. Plus......I'd bet that you'll burn more calories being more active in Cancun than back home.

For many of us, the scales indicate weight gained if you weigh the morning after you arrive home. A suggestion........weigh yourself the morning of the day you leave for vacation..........then weigh at the same time a week after your return home. That will give you a more accurate idea of "weight gained".

What makes you think that will be hard????

    1 margarita = 750 Cal x10 per day =7500 Cal x7 days = 52,500 Cal.

I was kidding when I went looking, but I think I will stick to Tequilla shots and Martinis!!

how big is that margarita to be 750 cal? my goodness! They are more like 150-180 cal.

I don't really gain much weight after the vacation. I mean yes there is that alcoholic bloat you have for a few days, but you should go back to pretty much normal. I mean for me, I am defiantly drinking and eating more over a week then I normally do. But I am also more active. 5 days a week I sit at a desk. So the walking, swimming, dancing, repeat horizontal mambo, and other activities keep the balance.

We are there for 14 days. Omg they will have to roll me home.
I don't drink alcohol so it's the food I have to watch.

I'll definitely not be more active than at home. I train on average 10 times a week as well as playing sports.
But I'm prepared for it. Well, I will be on sunday.

Well it sounds like you have nothing to worry about then. Most of the food choices are can be relatively healthy. Just hit the gym for a bit each day and don't eat 3 burgers at 3am.
