I know that in the past this dead horse was kicked alot. I usually use the resort transportation. But I remember people saying that other companies for private transportation were just as good and possible less expense. Any suggestions?

In our two trips we used, whatever Orbitz sets you up with when booking with them, and USA Transfers last time. Both were great, and offered private shuttle. USA was a little cheaper, and we'll use again.
USA Transfers charges $55 for 2 people, round trip and it goes directly to the resort (no other passengers, no other stops) The drivers are very professional. Some will offer snippets about the city as you drive along. The thing I have to remind myself, is that you don't pay for the transportation in advance. You book it in advance, but you don't actually pay until the driver drops you off at the resort. (On my 1st time using USA Transfers, I had forgotten that I hadn't paid yet. I had paid for my flight, hotel, excursion and airport parking in advance so I had assumed this was paid for as well)
We use Canada Transfer...a few bucks cheaper than USA Transfer and are very good. You can also pay in Can funds... as exchange rate these days is not in our favour.
You can pay USA Transfers with CAD...it's on their website. The owner is from Edmonton. Someone can fill you in on the details but the owner Canada Transfers is allegedly a thief that stole from the original company...USA Transfers. Nikki
Canadian dollar. In the last year or so our dollar has dropped a bit so the $55 U.S. that Americans pay to USA Transfers actually costs Canadians $73.
