Boring question...laundry

Sorry...sorry...this is supposed to be exciting.

But anyone ever do laundry with the resort?
I'm not staying too long but want to minimize how much "normal" clothes I pack. 9 days isn't a month like some people...but still.

 

Laundry at the resort is called wash your shit in the sink. In other words, bring what you will need for the duration of your stay.

 

We've considered it, but it's not cheap :-/

 

Ooh, good question. We've never stayed longer than 7 days so we just wait until we get home to do our laundry.

 

Someone mentioned a laundrymat/cleaners across the street a while back

the sink thing with those litttle pouches of Tide you can get works good

 

Across the street down by the OXXO is a place where you walk in, drop off your clothes, they weight them and you pay by the Kilo. They wash and fold them for you and you can usually pick them up either later that day if they are not busy, or the next day.

I'm trying to remember but I think the cost was like 1 to 2 dollars a Kilo.. yeah cheap.

We bring a small amount of powder laundry soap and was then in the sink.

 

When u wash the clothes in the sink in the room ... with it being so hot & humid ... do they ever dry out completely?

Believe it or not, they will actually dry by morning if you hang them out on the balcony.

 

Yeah but I go for 15 days so it's a little harder to was jeans in the sink.
