Gang, My wife and I are going to be headed to Temptations for the first time in a week and a half. Currently we are planning on staying at two hotels during our trip. Temptations for four days then the Riu for 4 days. Question: Is four days enough time at temptations of do you think we should change our plans and stay the entire trip at temptations?
Seeings how this is a Temptation forum, I am pretty sure you are going to get an overwhelming number of responses saying to change and stay to Temptation the entire time. That would be like me walking into Philly and asking groups of people if I am better off going to the Link to watch the Eagles vs. Redskins, or if I should go to the FedEx Field.
We dipped our toes in the water for the first time with 3 days. It's enough to give you an idea and to come to the realization that you'll be back...and for longer periods of time.
As fans of TTR we think 10 days is the sweet spot but I think your plan of 4 is enough for you to get a good idea of what it's like. I'm pretty sure you'll be booking your second trip using the free wifi at the Riu, just saying.
I have a strong suspicion that you'll regret leaving if you do. Another couple posted yesterday about doing the same (leaving TTR for GP though) and they actually re-booked TTR even though they couldn't cancel their GP reservation (they paid for both just to head back to TTR). Resorts aside, I could never convince wifey to interrupt our lounging to spend a day packing up and moving to another room, let alone another resort. I say 8 days straight in one spot are better than 2 stints of 4 days each.
STAY THE ENTIRE TRIP AT Temptation!!!! You won't regret it, but you will definitely regret leaving TTR early after all the fun. Just my honest opinion. This past May was my first time with my fiancé and now we don't want to go anywhere else for a while. Lol
The Riu will be SUPER disappointing after TTR! I have stayed at both "including the RIU in Jamaica, and hedonism in Jamaica, and nowhere comes close to TTR! "But not to start a debate " that is just my opinion Do what YOU think is best for your vacation [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
