I have tickets to Xcaret and I can't wait to try it out but still have concerns in the back of my mind.

Are they allowed on property? I am seeing nothing about them online.

About 10 years ago we went to Xcaret. It was awesome, mostly swimming with dolphins. In that trip we did quite a few things away from the resort- Xcaret, a mini boat tour, snorkeling, Isla Mujeres, Coco Bongo, Senior Frogs, etc. and never had a problem.

Just make sure you have transport.

 

E-cigs and regular cigs are allowed to smoke on resort

depends on what your looking to do. Xelha(spelling) is great too a lot xcaret.

Ruins try Tulum or chitzenita.

 

Akumal is amazing, u can swim with sea turtles for free if u have your own snorkel gear. It's a bit of a drive, u would have to rent a car, but very worth it. There will be people trying to get u to buy a guided tour but that is completely unnecessary, just get in the water and swim out, u will find them!
