At Mexican Customs, do you admit you're visiting Temptation?

Upon arrival to Mexico, you have to fill out 2 cards. One is for customs and I'm not sure what the other is. However, they ask you where you'll be staying.

Last time we visited, we fibbed and put "Riu Palace" on the form. Is this an absolute no-no? It's a little embarrassing admitting to authorities about Temptation.

When I told the USA Transfers driver I was headed for Temptation, he gave me + my husband a sly smile. Similar thing happened when we went told the bus driver where we needed to stop. All in good fun, but I realized what a reputation the resort had with the locals.

So, while we *have* to tell drivers where we're staying, is it as important to tell the authorities at Border Crossing?

 

What's the issue? It's a legal document and should be completed truthfully. Believe me, they don't give a shit if you were attending a Roman orgy.

 

Hell, I openly tell people at home where we're going. I sure as hell don't care what the people at Customs think. Be yourself - who cares what people, especially those you don't know, think about where you spend your vacations.

 

We always fill it out truthfully.

They do not care nor pay much attention to it. You could be creative and just put the address down Blvd. Kukulkan Km 3.5, Cancún, Q.R , 77500

 

Probably more interested in getting home for dinner, than where tourists are staying.

 

The customs people couldn't care less about which hotel you are staying at. They have heard and seen it all. I think the only time they would ever raise an eyebrow is if you told them you were staying at their house.

 

I have thought about this for about 5 minutes and have absolutely zero clue as to why you'd lie on the customs form.

I went to Cabo last year and gave two security officers a green Monster. They acted like I gave them 100 bucks and were extremely happy.

 

Yea I am pretty sure you should fill the custom form with accurate information. If you were from another country going into the US, would you want them to lie about where they are going, or what they were doing?

The customs people see 100s-1000s of people per day. Do you think they are thinking at night "remember that American in the blue shirt, what a perv. I bet his wife is really going to get it this week at Temptation." haha

I don't lie, nor am I embarrassed where I go on vacation. I tell my parents, my co-workers, strangers at the bar, people at the airport departing, and then everyone when I set foot in Mexico. Thinking there is something to be embarrassed about is what would gives the impression to others that there is something to be embarrassed about.

 

Last time we went to Mexico I got the red light and had to be inspected .... on the inspection table big box of Commons the big bottle wet lube the vibes the cuffs the dildos the strap on the anal beads etc.... they didn't even flinch nor care and I just had that it's gonna be a hell of a week smile on my face .... if anything they were jealous lol
