I love this post so much! It will be our first time on 10/18. We booked after having a blast on the Boobs Cruise in April. We definitely are party people and totally down to Earth, but this is a new adventure for us! The short answer is no. We rate vacation destinations according to the old US movie ratings: G, PG, R, and X. Disneyland is G. Most all-inclusives are PG. Temptation is R. Hedonism and Desire are X.
25 trips and I have never seen a porn show except in Jamaica. Lol, your friend has no clue what he is talking about, it's nowhere near Desire or that atmosphere. Our first three trips we didn't even realize that there were swingers there. Sure a little naive or just blind to what we just considered people just having fun. You don't have to be in the lifestyle, it's just a great place to vacation. You will however get people who go oh ah when you mention where you are going. Just people who think they know. I think you'll be surprised at your own reaction or the resort.
It also helps to have an orange canuncare bracelet. It helps others on this site recognize you and can be a helpful ice breaker.
Have fun like 'you want', be comfortable with whatever you do, if your not happy with something, don't do it, especially to please someone else. We are planning on down time, but together, maybe at the beach, or a swim a the quite pool, but it does'nt mean you're not having fun.
Nothing to be nervous about at all. Its not a sex free for all. We've been 7 times. Nothing but great people and good times. You are never forced to do or participate in anything. You can be wild or mild. Just be you. Also....sometimes the 24/7 party "hype" is a little "overhyped".
