Struggling to decide between TTR and Desire RM this December. We have not been to either yet, and just want to make the best decision. Little about us: - Late 20's - Love nude beaches - Laid back but down to party - Go to LS clubs, etc. but aren't swingers (swayers maybe) Those who have been to both, what do you think is our best match? Thanks for any help!
We'll have our first trip to TTR in Nov. Last May we were at DRM, so I can weigh in there. Aside from age (we're 30's) we're in pretty much the same boat - LS friendly, but non-participants. That said, that trip was our first LS encounter, and although it didn't pull us over the edge (and probably never will) it did teach us that swingers are a hell of a lot of fun to party with. We were very nearly the youngest couple at DRM. There was another 20's couple there on their honeymoon, and I don't think they knew what they were doing there. They spent the whole time kiteboarding, and never even talked to anyone else. Aside from them, and 2-3 other couples, we were the young ones. Depending on your point of view, that could be good or bad. To say the least, we were very "popular". We're far from model quality (well, wifey's pretty hot) but being on the young side, we attracted a lot of attention. We had lots of flirting (we enjoyed a lot), some offers (which were flattering, but declined) and some outright pleading for our participation (annoying.) For two shy monogamous people from the Bible Belt, it was a much needed eye-opener. I can tell you that DRM was very erotic. It was well-kept, pretty, quiet, and luxurious. I only saw two people who were drunk - it was their first day, and they had to hang it up by 6:00 PM. Otherwise, everyone was enjoying a sexy, relaxed time. Music was bumping by the pool, but there was mostly just conversation - no horseplay or shenanigans. We met many people that I hope we see again. From my impression (and research, and questions), TTR will be little more energetic. Still sexy, but more of a party. Here's my partially-informed analogy (again, haven't been to TTR yet) ... Have you been to Las Vegas? If you'd rather spend your day lounging by the Bellagio pool with champagne and cucumber sandwiches, and then have a $200 dinner at the Wynn, you'll love DRM. If you'd rather stay at Planet Hollywood, eat at Bobby Flay, hit a dance club, and then play blackjack until 2:00 AM, I think TTR is the better bet. And for the record - both of those sound like awesome vacations to me.
A couple questions: How important is nude? Which would you prefer, a party with a little "laid back" thrown in, or a laid back with a little party thrown in?
We do enjoy it quite a bit! Been looking at takeover cruises, etc. We're a little more laid back than party, BUT love theme night parties etc.

We will be at Temptations Oct 27th-nov 2nd. Then at DRM from Nov 2nd -6th. We have been to TTR 6 times & DRM 2 times. You party more at TTR & meet more people. Desire you get the nude factor. You can choose.
We're doing both this year! We've been to TTR 3 times, and always feel like we need another vacation after we get home just to relax and nurse our hangovers. So this year we decided to split the trip. So we're doing TTR for 5 days and Desire for 3 days
We have been to Desire Cabo, RM, Pearl 18 times , TTR 6 times and Hedo II, We would advice to split the vacation and don't think you'll be rested at Desire during the day is clam but from the night it's on.
