So, wifey is becoming a bit more adventurous after the eye-opening trip to DRM last year. She thinks TTR will be like riding a bike with training wheels now, so she's a bit more relaxed about the topless environment. As a devoted husband, I plan to help her achieve her goals in any way possible. That said, I know she can't go au naturale all the time, so I'm curious what needs to be worn in the following situations, so we can plan attire accordingly...

    - Can she be topless at any pool, or just the Sexy pool?

    - Is topless allowed on the beach? If so, can we go for a walk on the beach with her topless, or is it just allowed in front of TTR only?

    - So we're hanging out by the pool, and decide to grab lunch - I assume a coverup is required for the buffet or grill. Can this be large mesh/see though swim cover, or does it have to block the view of the cupcakes?

    - Dinner - she likes to dress elegantly - again, is a completely sheer top (with nothing else under) OK, or does she need pasties or a bra underneath to get into the nicer restaurants?

    - Disco - Is topless with only pasties OK? Mesh top with no pasties OK?

    - Paty-O's - same questions.

Thanks folks. I know I must seem dense, but the descriptions on the forum and TTR site say things like "must be covered" but I don't know if it's kosher to "cover" with a 1" fishnet top where everything is clearly visible. Again, I'm just trying to do my marital duty and be sure the wife isn't uncomfortably over-clothed at any time. I appreciate the input!!

All of the above should be fine. My understanding of the beach is that it is a public beach and Mexico doesn't allow topless on their beaches, but I have never known that to be enforced. I don't go to the TTR beach often, but I've never worn a top.

I know that at DRM (also Cancun) full nudity was allowed on the beach. However, you couldn't walk past the resort's property (even on the beach) without covering (there was a sign). So, there must be some cases where resorts are given special permission to set their standards. Hopefully at TTR, topless isn't an issue.

But thanks for the reply on the other points.

I'm not saying she'd want to be naked for lunch, but at DRM (again, this is our first time to TTR) there was an outdoor patio grill adjacent to the pool, which was very informal. Several women just pulled on a mesh coverup to sit and have lunch. Nipples were clearly visible, although technically "covered". Most men sat without shirts, and everyone was barefoot, and dripping wet from the pool. This may not apply at DRM, if the restaurants are all indoors, then I see the difference.

As for night time, I'm still looking for their definition of "topless". Again, a woman could wear a top made completely of sheer fabric or mesh, and still have nipples visible, although technically covered. Is this allowed?

I appreciate the feedback, and I'm not trying to argue or be difficult - I just don't want to order her some special outfits that will get her barred from entry to dinner, the disco, or Paty-O. That would be a waste.

    Thanks!

There was plenty of toplessness the past few weeks at TTR in places around the resort besides the pools and the beach. It may be against "the rules" but just sayin...........it happens people!

Completely sheer is assuredly allowed at Paty O's and Nice Shoes. We had 2 Sheer theme nights during our stay and there were dozens of women and a number of men that enthusiastically participated! Zero worries my friends!

I've definitely pushed the limits at Paty'os... pasties and totally sheer! I've never had anything said to me.

Last year at TTR we saw topless on the beach and at the quiet pool a bunch.

U might have some problems eating in the restaurant in your poolside clothing , but all they can do is ask U to put on some dry clothes, etc ... and U can always request the food to go ... and take it back outside... Service is pretty understanding at TTR....

Blondie pushes the limits every time we go and only had a problem once with a rogue security guard that freaked out on her for not wearing panties on Men's Dress Shirt Night. As for top issues we have two mottoes to live by, "less is more" and "skin will win".
