how much time do we save if we transfer company...

    I would say having done both several times, private transfer saves 30 to 45 minutes, maybe a bit more time savings. After flying and maybe a long line inside the last thing most want is to have a 60 to 90 minute transfer.

    I'd say anywhere from 1/2 hour to maybe an hour and a half.

    I'll relate a few experiences we had with a standard transport that was part of the package before we got smart.

    Due to TTR being at the end of the hotel zone there can be a lot of stops at other hotels, our second Cancun trip had 5 before we got there. Also the normal transports tend to go through the shopping zone regardless whereas USA Transfers will ask if you want to see the shops or be fast, pick fast!

    Once on pickup we had to go to another hotel but there was a traffic jam on the way into town. We were stuck in it for 20+ minutes before he turned around and went straight to the airport. No clue what happened to the people from the other resort and while we were on time for our flight it did rush our duty free browsing.

    I recommend USA Transfers to anyone at any hotel regardless of what's included in your package deal.

    Ali makes a point of finding our original tour operator and telling them we made our own transportation plans. She's nice that way. I just get us beers and find the USA guy lol

    Owned by the former transport manager of USA Transfers who stole several vans that were in his name when he left.

    Ironically the owner of Canada Transfers is Mexican and chose the name to piss off the owner of USA Transfers who is Canadian.

    He was transport manager. He had responsibility for purchase of vans with company money and registering them with correct permits, which are numerous and time consuming. He registered them (6 vans I think) in his own name instead of the company, then claimed them as as his own when he left shortly after to start his own company. The owner of USA has around 80 vans and approx 150 staff, he can't personally monitor everything 100% and got scammed. Legal action is ongoing but takes forever.

    Not funny, sounds like a crook. But the name thing hits to the core. Thanks Steve. Someone to stay away from.

    Sounds like a great guy - and wow he even lowered the round trip price by $2. What a deal.

    We have used USA Transfers probably close to 15 times and wouldn't change even if he undercut their price by $20.
