We are coming down in October from the 15th to the 22nd ... and we love a good time ...we plan on being in the sexy pool a lot and closing out the bar at the end of the day ... we don't want to miss an of the action that goes on but don't want a bass pumping sound all day long in the room .... any suggestions as to what buildings are still part of all the fun but not on top of the club and by the DJ lol
Any room that is not next to PattyO is fine. We stayed in the 5000 and next to the quiet pool and they were both quiet. Last year we got stuck next to Patty O and it was the worst 10 days ever.
I have circled what I think are the loud areas of the resort. 2000s - these are directly around PatyOs and are the loudest at night until 3-4am 3000s and part of the 5000s - not necessary loud, but you can hear the speaker and sexy pool activity during the day starting around 11. Only a problem if you are trying to sleep in really late, but who is trying to do that Oh and I guess technically you could get placed in a area of the resort used by staff for service. There are a few high traffic areas. Obviously that can be at any resort and there really isn't a way I can circle those. Just check out your room first before you take it and make sure you are satisfied.
We love the 5000 block. In our opinion it is close enough to the action to get to each location quickly enough but far enough away so we can actually sleep at night and as late as we want in the morning. Melissa
This, 5000 block, is the area we are hoping for unless someone can convince us to go to another area. All in all the room location is only a location and don't plan on being in it too much when awake. T
Thanks everyone .... great advice and an awesome map !!!! ... I don't mind a little noise we aren't going there to catch up on reading just don't want the mirror falling off the wall from the bass vibrating lol ... prefer of we did that ourselves lol
Question about this point, so when checking in and they say we have room XXXX for you...do you say "Can I see that room first?" or am I reading this wrong. We aren't picky people but it might be good to do if you are in a new area. Nikki
Yes that is exactly what I did every time. I was nice about it and they never had a problem. The resort was full in May when we went, so our choice was limited and they said "This is all we have" I said how about we wait a few hours and try this again. Two hours went by, we went back, and we had to different choices two pick from. My first time there we booked ocean view, and when they pointed to the location on the map, it just didn't look right to me. So I knew it was better to check it out first. I know all hotels try to play this check-in game. This also avoids the bellhop having to take your bags all over the place.
300 buildings look like the fun area for us ... noise during the day not an issue and close to the sexy pool ...
